Summary of Position with General Responsibilities:
Disinfects devices upon arrival and where necessary assembles and disassembles product preparing devices/accessories for servicing. Works from documented procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, or sketches as defined in the Bard Electronics Quality System.
Essential Job Functions:
Disinfection of returned product from customer locations.
Must be capable of using protective clothing at various times during the disinfection process per instructions
Heavy lifting (100 pounds with assistance) removing product from packaging.
Data Entry keyboarding skills.
Assemble components per written instruction.
Technical competence.
Fosters Continuous Improvement in training and all other areas of team performance.
Performs job with minimal supervision.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires the demonstrated ability to interpret and comprehend specifications, procedures, and use of hand tools.
Must be able to successfully pass training requirements of federal or local regulatory programs to the position, if required.
Must be able to develop skills at an acceptable rate. Possess mechanical ability and familiarity with hand tools and facility equipment.
Must be able to maintain appropriate documentation related to product servicing.
Demonstrate a high level of motivation to support overall team objectives.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Basic PC Skills using Microsoft office (MS Excel, Word, Outlook).
Previous experience in an electro-mechanical assembly work.
Basic electronic knowledge.
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Demands:
Employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, walk and stand on concrete surface for extended periods. May occasionally lift objects up to 100 lbs. (with assistance)
